These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Snapy ("Snapy", the "service"). By uploading a file or using the service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Snapy.
The service
Snapy lets you upload a file, page, or project and get a public link to share it. No account is required. The service is provided free of charge during this phase.
Payments and the lifetime deal
Snapy also offers an optional one-time "lifetime" plan for early supporters, currently presented as an early-supporter waitlist. The points below apply to that plan and are written for full transparency:
- What "lifetime" means. The lifetime plan is a single payment with no subscription. "Lifetime" means for as long as Snapy is operated. It is not a promise that the service will run forever.
- What it includes. It unlocks the plan's stated features and limits, such as expanded storage and a custom domain, and it locks in your price as limits and pricing change for new users later. Features may be added or adjusted over time.
- Support. Support for the lifetime plan is provided on a reasonable best-effort basis, by email and help documentation. It is not a guaranteed response time or a formal service-level agreement.
- If Snapy ever winds down. If the service is ever discontinued, lifetime members will be given advance notice and a way to export their files, so a shared link is never the only copy of something important.
- Refunds. If the plan is not right for you, contact Snapy within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
- Early-supporter offer. The lifetime deal is a limited early-supporter offer for the first 100 members. Snapy may change or close the offer at any time before purchase.
AI features and fair use
Some Snapy tools use third-party AI to generate content for you, such as the menu, schedule, and invitation makers. Because each generation has a real cost from the AI provider, AI generation is subject to fair-use daily limits rather than unlimited use, on both the free and lifetime plans. These limits keep the AI tools free to use and sustainable, and they may be adjusted over time. Hosting, sharing, and your file storage are governed by the plan limits described above and are not part of this AI fair-use limit.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Snapy only for lawful purposes and only for content you have the right to share. You must not upload or share:
- Illegal content of any kind.
- Malware, viruses, phishing pages, or anything designed to harm, deceive, or defraud.
- Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of anyone else.
- Hateful, harassing, or abusive material, or content that exploits or endangers others.
- Spam, or attempts to overload, probe, or disrupt the service.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to share that content, and you grant Snapy the limited right to store, host, and serve it so your link works. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and share.
Enforcement
Snapy may remove any content, disable any link, and block any device or address at its discretion, especially where content appears to break these Terms or is reported as abusive. Snapy may also keep records needed to investigate abuse.
Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Links, files, and features may change, be limited, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. Do not rely on Snapy as your only copy of an important file.
No warranty
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Snapy is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Snapy and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Your use of Snapy is at your own risk.
Termination
Snapy may suspend or end your access to the service at any time, including for any breach of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
