Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who uploads, publishes, or shares content through Snapy, including free and paid users. By using Snapy you agree to these rules. We may update this policy as the service evolves.
What you may share
Snapy is built for sharing documents, presentations, images, and files you have the right to distribute — for example proposals, reports, portfolios, decks, and client deliverables. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to share it.
What is not allowed
The following content and activity are prohibited on Snapy:
- Illegal content of any kind, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
- Malware, viruses, ransomware, or any file built to harm a device or network.
- Phishing pages, credential-harvesting pages, or content that impersonates a person, brand, or organization to deceive.
- Content that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Hateful, harassing, threatening, or violent material.
- Spam, deceptive redirects, or links used to distribute unsolicited bulk messages.
- Adult content published without appropriate access controls, and any content that violates applicable law.
How content is moderated
- Automated checks at upload. Uploads are screened for dangerous file types, and files are scanned for malware before a link is served. Files that fail these checks are rejected.
- Rate and abuse controls. New and unverified users are subject to stricter limits on how many links they can create, and abusive devices or accounts can be throttled or blocked.
- Trust-based capabilities. Some capabilities, such as hosting raw HTML pages, are limited for brand-new users until basic trust (such as a verified email) is established.
- Reactive review. Reported links are reviewed by our team. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and repeat or serious offenders are blocked.
Reporting abuse
If you find a Snapy link that breaks these rules, report it to [email protected] with the full link and a short description of the problem. See the Report Abuse page for details. We review every report and act on violations.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may remove content, disable a link, restrict an account's capabilities, or block a device or account entirely. We also cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where required.
Copyright and DMCA
If you believe content on Snapy infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] including the infringing link, a description of the original work, your contact information, and a good-faith statement. Valid notices result in prompt removal of the identified content.
Privacy
Snapy keeps basic records for each upload — such as time, file details, and a device identifier — solely to prevent abuse and keep the service safe. See the Privacy Policy for more.
